Volontaires....
Sans Frontieres (VSF)
is an international disaster relief management
organization established to assist the victims of
natural disasters |
Establishing teams of relief-ready volunteers in
disaster prone places is a new departure for us, one which we
are piloting in Peru, where we already have a national
presence helping abandoned and at risk people. We are also
taking steps to implement VSF in other countries where we work
and in places where we have friends, colleagues and
cooperating NGOs.
With Search & Recovery / Relief Coordination
specialists working as a first response team we hope to be
able to save many more lives than would normally be
expected
Our work is always in cooperation with, support
of and coordinated with Governments and recognised
international relief response NGOs and bodies. We plan to
be there first & have procedures in place when others
arrive.. |
|
We have volunteers and representatives
on the ground. They are busy helping
some of the best local NGOs. And should an event occur
on their watch which requires rescue/relief, they are
ready to spring into action. For we are all part of a
team of helpers, medics, search & rescue, logiitics,
crisis management.
WE WERE THERE

but we were there. Since the mid 60īs we have assisted
